Description
The sunflower sits so close under the collar that the trim covers the tips of its top petals.
What the trim leaves showing
On one side, the sunflower: two rings of pointed petals, rust outside and gold within, round a dotted rust ring and a pale middle freckled with gold. A teal cornflower stands beside the two studs that begin the lacing, its scaly bud tucked under the head, and sage stems loop down from it in slow curls. Down near the sole on that side sits an orange-red poppy, open round a pale green eye, a shut bud beside it, and three white daisies, amber in the middle, pressing in underneath.
The other side keeps things smaller: one daisy just under the trim, a poppy with a dark blue middle below it, and a bud hanging its head on a bent stalk beside the laces. Each toe carries a row of cream-white daisies straight across, sage leaves tucked under, a curl of vine at either end. The blue is a washed denim, darker under the collar than down on the vamp, with fern fronds a shade deeper coming down out of the trim on the front.
Now the boot, item by item
- Round the collar
- A wide roll of pale cream plush, deep enough that the print runs in under it.
- Padding
- A soft layer inside, and the warmth is its doing.
- Underneath
- A chunky lugged sole with a squared sidewall, deep tread and real height to it.
- Laces, studs, toe
- Black laces through five open eyelets a side, two solid studs above them under the trim, and a rounded toe.
- The run
- From US 4.5 to 14, twenty sizes counting the halves. Yours is on it, whole or half, so an order here is a choice, not a bet.
There is no pair yet. Yours goes to print after the order comes in, in your size, and that single fact is why the list never loses a number, and why whoever stops you to ask about the sunflower is looking at a pair made for one woman.
Shipping
Nothing waits in a box for you. Each pair gets printed, cut and assembled after you order, so two timers run back to back.
Building your pair: 5 to 10 business days at the workshop.
Delivery, from the day it ships:
- United States: 7 to 15 business days
- United Kingdom: 10 to 18 business days
- Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the EU: 10 to 20 business days
- Everywhere else: 15 to 25 business days
Most pairs land two to five weeks after checkout. Dressing for a date? Leave room.
What it costs: $14.99 for the first pair inside the United States, $16.99 to Canada, $14.99 everywhere else we ship. Every further pair on the same order adds $9.99, so two pairs to a US address ship for $24.98. Socks post on their own at $4.99 a pair and tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere and whether or not boots travel with them. The figure appears at checkout once you enter an address, and nothing is added after you pay.
A tracking number lands in your inbox the moment the box leaves. Once a parcel crosses a border, import duty or tax may be charged on arrival by the customs office in the destination country.
Wrong size on arrival? One size exchange with every order. It can move you two sizes at most, and the clock runs 30 days from delivery. What changes is who pays the freight: orders carrying Return & Exchange Protection send the pair back and the replacement out at our cost, and orders without it are billed for those two shipments. Questions, answered
Sizes, timing, and the rest
Straight answers before you choose a size. The full run and the measuring guide live on the Size Chart. Anything else, email cs@sunayla.com; a person reads it.
What sizes do these come in?
US 4.5 to 14, every half size, twenty sizes in all. Order by the size your foot measures rather than the size you usually buy: the run and the measuring guide live on the Size Chart.
Is there a wide fit on the Winter Boots?
Not on this line. The Wide fit is built into the Leather Boots, where every size comes in Standard and Wide and Wide runs 13 mm bigger around the foot. If room across the ball of the foot is the thing you need most, start there.
Will my size sell out?
No. Every pair is printed, cut and assembled after you order, so there is no shelf for a size to run out of and no half size that quietly disappears. What that buys you is availability, not speed: the workshop still needs its 5 to 10 business days.
How long until they are on my feet?
Your pair is made after you order: 5 to 10 business days at the workshop, then the journey. Inside the United States that journey runs 7 to 15 business days, the United Kingdom 10 to 18, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the EU 10 to 20, everywhere else 15 to 25. Most pairs land two to five weeks after checkout, and the Shipping tab above carries the same table.
What does shipping cost?
The first pair carries the charge and every further pair on the same order adds $9.99. Inside the United States that is $14.99 for one pair and $24.98 for two. Canada opens at $16.99, and everywhere else we ship opens at $14.99. Socks post on their own at $4.99 a pair, tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere. The figure appears at checkout once you enter an address.
What if the size is wrong when they arrive?
You get one size exchange on the order. It can move you two sizes at most from the number you first chose, and the clock runs 30 days from the day the box arrives. What changes is who pays the freight: an order carrying Return & Exchange Protection sends the pair back and the replacement out at our cost, an order without it is billed for those two shipments. Details on the Return & Refund page.
Can I order two designs in the same go?
Yes, and the second pair only adds $9.99 to the shipping. They are made side by side and travel together, so the timings above do not change.
Is there a matching pair of socks or a tote?
Yes. The same ten designs run across socks and tote bags, so the drawing on your boots has a match in both. Socks post at $4.99 a pair and tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere and whether or not boots travel with them.
