Terms of Service

Last reviewed August 2026. Below are the conditions attached to sunayla.com — the shop, the writing, the photographs, and every order placed through any of it. Written to be read rather than survived. A denser legal edition lives at our full terms notice and governs if the two ever pull apart.

Part one — before anything is bought

1. The shop behind the site. Sunayla operates sunayla.com. Read we and our as Sunayla; read you as whoever happens to be browsing, ordering, or writing in.

2. Reading counts as agreeing. Opening a page here, or paying for a pair, places you inside this agreement and inside the three documents leaning against it: Returns and Refunds, Shipping and Delivery, Privacy. They belong to the same deal. Disagree with any part and the remedy is simple: close the tab.

3. Old enough to sign. Placing an order means you have reached the age at which your own jurisdiction lets a person enter a contract, and that nobody below it is ordering through your card or your details.

4. What the site is for. Shop with it, read it, ask us things through it. What it is not for: breaking a law, or urging somebody else to; harassing or defaming a person; taking our illustrations or our writing to sell on your own account; loading harmful code into the system; probing where the security might give way. Any one of those closes your access immediately.

Part two — the order itself

5. Photographs, and the colour question. Each Edition is shot honestly, and the print that ships is matched against the print you saw. Screens, though, are not calibrated against each other, and no monitor can promise a shade exactly. Should a pair land looking genuinely different from its pictures, we want that email — the Returns and Refunds page explains what happens next.

6. What a price is. Everything is priced in US dollars, and prices move without an announcement. The figure that binds is whatever sat on screen as you completed checkout. Should a price shift afterwards, in either direction, no claim arises from it — not for you, not for anybody else.

7. Orders we may turn down. An order can be refused at our end, or pulled after acceptance, and a ceiling may be set on the number of pairs going to one buyer, one household, one doorstep. Anything already paid for that we then pull is refunded down to the last dollar.

8. Your details, typed correctly. Name, email, delivery address — keep them accurate and keep them current. A pair gets built and posted from exactly the characters you enter.

9. Nothing exists until you order it. Work on your pair begins after the order lands, never before. That is why any Sunayla size can always be ordered, and why cancelling has a window rather than a button. The Returns and Refunds page lays out that window, the routes out, and the timings on each. Ten minutes there before buying beats an hour there afterwards.

Part three — what belongs to whom

10. Things you send us. A suggestion, a photograph of your boots on a hillside, an entry to something we run — send it by any route and we may keep it, edit it, publish it, or pass it along, with no fee owed to you. No duty falls on us to treat such material as confidential, to store it, or to write back about it.

11. Things that are ours. The illustrations across the boots, the photography, the Edition names, the writing on these pages: all ours. Look at them, link to them, send them to a friend. Reproducing or selling them needs written permission from us first.

12. Doors leading out of the site. Some links carry you somewhere we do not run. Whatever sits on the far side is that operator's responsibility, and a link from us amounts to no recommendation. A grievance about somebody else's site belongs with that site.

Part four — the legal machinery

13. Mistakes on the page. A typo, a stale line, a detail gone missing — inside a product description, inside a price, inside an offer, inside a delivery estimate — will occasionally slip through. We may correct it whenever it surfaces, amend the page, and where it matters cancel an order caught by the error, without owing notice in advance.

14. What is not promised. The site comes as it stands. We warrant neither an unbroken connection, nor a page that always loads, nor an experience free of every fault. Parts of it may go dark for a stretch, or be withdrawn, with no heads-up beforehand.

15. The limit of what we owe. So far as the law allows, Sunayla does not answer for loss that is indirect, that is incidental, that is special, or that is consequential, where such loss is tied to this site or to anything bought through it. Nor do the people we work alongside answer for it — employees, suppliers, contractors and service providers alike. Any right your local law grants you and refuses to let you waive survives this paragraph untouched.

16. Costs you cover. Break these conditions, or break a law, and should a third party come after us because of it, the cost of defending and settling that claim falls to you.

17. A clause that fails. Should a court strike one paragraph down, that paragraph alone is cut away and the remainder keeps working.

18. Ending the arrangement. It runs until one of us stops it. You stop it by leaving the site alone. We may stop it where you have broken these conditions. Whatever either side already owes the other outlives the ending.

19. All of it, and no waiver. This document, together with the policies it links to, forms the entire understanding between us regarding the site, and it replaces whatever was said beforehand. Letting a clause slide on one occasion surrenders nothing.

20. Governing law. United States law is what this agreement is read under. Whatever consumer protections your own country grants you remain in force.

21. Revisions. Whatever text sits here is the version in force. We rewrite it by publishing the new wording in this spot, so a periodic look is sensible. Keep using the shop once new text is up, and that is your acceptance of it.

22. Where to ask. Anything unclear above can go to cs@sunayla.com. A human writes back.
