Ten editions in all. Each one drawn, then printed onto the boot, then built to the size and width you choose.

Celeste

A sun and a crescent moon share one face, with the moon phases circling above them.

MEET CELESTE

Sunny

One big sunflower. A peace sign where the seeds should be. Chocolate brown underneath.

MEET SUNNY

Iris

Seven chakras run up the side and a rainbow mandala sits on the outer panel, all of it on black.

MEET IRIS

Paisley

Boteh teardrops and round medallions, traced in gold and teal over wine red.

Six places to start

Choosing is the hard part. These six cover most of the ground: quiet and loud, floral and celestial.

THE NAME

Sun, and Ayla.

Ayla is Turkish for the ring of light around the moon. Put it beside sun and you have a whole day in one word — bright in the morning, quieter by evening, the same woman either way. We draw both halves onto the boot, because you are not one of them on Tuesday and the other on Saturday. You are both, all week.

THE LONGER VERSION

Wide is not a bigger boot.

Same length as Standard, 5 mm more across the ball of the foot. So you order the size you already wear, never a size up.

The drawing goes into the boot, not onto it.

Printed straight onto the upper, over the toe and around the back. No patch, no decal, no edge waiting to peel.

The footbed lifts out.

EVA foam under a woven top layer. Take it out and your own orthotic goes in its place.

Steel in the sole. Lugs underneath.

A steel shank runs through the sole, and the tread is cut deep. Built for a day that does not end at lunch.

Nothing is cut until you order it.

Your size and your width are made after the order lands. That is why no size ever runs out, and why the pair that arrives was built for your foot and nobody else's.
