Paisley starts dark. Deep burgundy over shaft, vamp, tongue and heel — and pressed into that burgundy one tone deeper, a damask of boteh curls and fine vines that only shows when light comes in sideways. Everything else is laid on top of it.

What is drawn on each side

One boot carries the boteh. A single large teardrop, hooked at the tip, drawn in gold line with a row of gold beads following the curve and a band of teal set just inside the outline. Its middle opens into a rosette: cream petals at the edge, a teal ring behind them, a small gold heart. A second, smaller paisley sits below in solid teal with a cream curl at its centre.

The other boot goes round instead. A medallion about the size of a plum — gold scalloped rim, then a wide teal band dotted with cream, then a gold circle holding an oval of burnt orange with one cream daisy resting in it. Below and slightly to the side, a smaller take on the same idea: gold beading, orange middle, a little starburst flower.

Both boots share the scatter — cream daisies, four-petal buds, single gold dots, small gold sparks with four points. And every toe cap gets one teal flower with a gold centre, rounded petals opening across the front, a pair of gold chevrons pointing toward it.

Three things worth settling before the size menu

  • Wide is not bigger. Same length, same toe box height. It adds 13 mm of girth at the ball, the midfoot and the instep, which is the measurement a broad foot actually runs out of. Order your true number and switch the fit; going up a size only buys length you will slide around in.
  • Every half step from a 4.5 up to a 14. Both fits, the whole way along.
  • The ends of the size run never thin out. Every pair gets printed and built to the order, so no size quietly disappears off the menu.

Material, sole, and the wait

Both uppers take the identical artwork. Premium Vegan Leather — a microfiber: close grain, soft satin across the face. Burgundy sits deep on it, and the tone-on-tone damask holds onto its shadow. Top Grain Leather is real hide: heavier to pick up, and with walking it gives way to the foot rather than the other way round. Whichever you pick, the artwork is sealed beneath a water-based finish, which in practice means no solvent smell when the lid comes off.

Underfoot, cushioned foam that lifts out in one piece for people who swap in their own insoles. A black band circling the midsole, gum-brown lugs beneath, cemented on with heat and pressure. Production takes 5–10 working days from the moment your order lands, then it leaves.
