Description
Chocolate brown, and a peace sign sitting where a sunflower's seeds usually go.
Choose the frame before anything else
A white sole banded once in thin black, white laces, white rubber on the toe: that combination holds the brown like a window frame and makes the gold look like four in the afternoon. Go the other way (a black sole with black lacing and black rubber at the front), and the shoe shuts in around the print, the brown sinking almost to the level of the sole until only the rust and the cream are left standing. Eyelets come up silver either way, and the drawing underneath is the same one.
The sunflower, centre first
Its middle is a disc of sage green, dotted in rings and fenced with gold sawtooth, and a rust circle is dropped into that with the sign itself drawn across it in cream. Out from there the petals open, rust and gold and cream, pointed at the tips. A sage stem runs down and puts out one long leaf on either hand. Gold teardrops come away round it and four-point sparks in cream take up the gaps.
What is on the other shoe
Its partner is quieter and does not repeat the big flower: a gold bloom breaking from a sage calyx drawn in bare line and carried high, a smaller round one in gold whose middle is a tight spiral, and a bud that never opened, left as outline. A tendril curls between them. And on both shoes there is mandala and paisley pressed half a tone into the brown, reaching the heel and the collar band, with a small peace-sign sunflower on the tongue and a half one rising over the toe cap.
The size run
US 4.5 to 14 and not one half step left out. You should not be choosing between two sizes that are both wrong, and on this shoe you are not. Every pair, five to ten working days in the making, goes into production only after you have ordered, which makes the size you want a decision rather than a gamble, and makes what reaches you a pair built for one set of feet.
Wear them to the shops. Someone will stop you.
Shipping
Nothing waits in a box for you. Each pair gets printed, cut and assembled after you order, so two timers run back to back.
Building your pair: 5 to 10 business days at the workshop.
Delivery, from the day it ships:
- United States: 7 to 15 business days
- United Kingdom: 10 to 18 business days
- Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the EU: 10 to 20 business days
- Everywhere else: 15 to 25 business days
Most pairs land two to five weeks after checkout. Dressing for a date? Leave room.
What it costs: $14.99 for the first pair inside the United States, $16.99 to Canada, $14.99 everywhere else we ship. Every further pair on the same order adds $9.99, so two pairs to a US address ship for $24.98. Socks post on their own at $4.99 a pair and tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere and whether or not boots travel with them. The figure appears at checkout once you enter an address, and nothing is added after you pay.
A tracking number lands in your inbox the moment the box leaves. Once a parcel crosses a border, import duty or tax may be charged on arrival by the customs office in the destination country.
Wrong size on arrival? One size exchange with every order. It can move you two sizes at most, and the clock runs 30 days from delivery. What changes is who pays the freight: orders carrying Return & Exchange Protection send the pair back and the replacement out at our cost, and orders without it are billed for those two shipments. Questions, answered
Sole colour, sizes, and the rest
Straight answers before you choose a size. The full run and the measuring guide live on the Size Chart. Anything else, email cs@sunayla.com; a person reads it.
What sizes do these come in?
US 4.5 to 14, every half size, twenty sizes in all. Order by the size your foot measures rather than the size you usually buy: the run and the measuring guide live on the Size Chart.
White sole or black?
Both, on every design. Pick under Sole Color before you add to cart. The print on the upper is the same either way, so the choice is only about what the sole does underneath it.
Is there a wide fit on the sneakers?
Not on this line. The Wide fit is built into the Leather Boots, where every size comes in Standard and Wide and Wide runs 13 mm bigger around the foot. If room across the ball of the foot is the thing you need most, start there.
Will my size sell out?
No. Every pair is printed, cut and assembled after you order, so there is no shelf for a size to run out of and no half size that quietly disappears. What that buys you is availability, not speed: the workshop still needs its 5 to 10 business days.
How long until they are on my feet?
Your pair is made after you order: 5 to 10 business days at the workshop, then the journey. Inside the United States that journey runs 7 to 15 business days, the United Kingdom 10 to 18, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the EU 10 to 20, everywhere else 15 to 25. Most pairs land two to five weeks after checkout, and the Shipping tab above carries the same table.
What does shipping cost?
The first pair carries the charge and every further pair on the same order adds $9.99. Inside the United States that is $14.99 for one pair and $24.98 for two. Canada opens at $16.99, and everywhere else we ship opens at $14.99. Socks post on their own at $4.99 a pair, tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere. The figure appears at checkout once you enter an address.
What if the size is wrong when they arrive?
You get one size exchange on the order. It can move you two sizes at most from the number you first chose, and the clock runs 30 days from the day the box arrives. What changes is who pays the freight: an order carrying Return & Exchange Protection sends the pair back and the replacement out at our cost, an order without it is billed for those two shipments. Details on the Return & Refund page.
Is there a matching pair of socks or a tote?
Yes. The same ten designs run across socks and tote bags, so the drawing on your sneakers has a match in both. Socks post at $4.99 a pair and tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere and whether or not boots travel with them.
