Description

Wine this deep is a risk on a shoe. It works because there is gold along every edge of the drawing.

One shoe gives its whole side panel to a single boteh, tail curled over and closing in a tight gold spiral. The outline is a run of gold beads with a close row of little flames just inside it, teal turning to cream. In the belly of the drop, a rosette alternating sharp teal, cream, rust-orange, cream, down to a gold stud. Behind it, lesser teardrops in the same two colours, cream daisies, gold starbursts. And that wine is not flat: paisley vines are worked through it a half tone below the colour they sit on, over the panel, the tongue, the heel. One double seam runs from collar to toe.

The second shoe went round instead of long

No teardrop on that one. A roundel instead: gold lobes round the rim, each tipped with a bead; a wide ring of teal carrying small cream flowers, a gold dot between each pair; an orange centre with a cream daisy thrown open on it. Under that, at half the size, the same thing without its teal ring, flowers straight on the wine. Two shoes that do not match, and not by accident.

Wine reads differently on each one

  • White: pale sole with one dark line ruled round its rim, pale laces, pale rubber over the toes. The wine comes forward, the gold turns metallic.
  • Black: black underneath, black through the lacing, black rubber across the toes. The wine sinks and the teal and cream do the carrying.
  • Silver eyelets, either way: seven climbing the side, the one piece that does not change when the frame does.

The print is the same on both. What makes them feel like different shoes is all happening under the artwork.

Every half step is on the list

From US 4.5 up to US 14, the middle of the run intact, not quietly thinned out. If you have ever settled for the nearest whole number and hoped, read it properly.

Then it gets made, and that runs five to ten working days. Nothing here exists before an order does, so nobody faster than you can take your size, and what arrives was assembled against your order.

Shipping

Nothing waits in a box for you. Each pair gets printed, cut and assembled after you order, so two timers run back to back.

Building your pair: 5 to 10 business days at the workshop.

Delivery, from the day it ships:

  • United States: 7 to 15 business days
  • United Kingdom: 10 to 18 business days
  • Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the EU: 10 to 20 business days
  • Everywhere else: 15 to 25 business days

Most pairs land two to five weeks after checkout. Dressing for a date? Leave room.

What it costs: $14.99 for the first pair inside the United States, $16.99 to Canada, $14.99 everywhere else we ship. Every further pair on the same order adds $9.99, so two pairs to a US address ship for $24.98. Socks post on their own at $4.99 a pair and tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere and whether or not boots travel with them. The figure appears at checkout once you enter an address, and nothing is added after you pay.

A tracking number lands in your inbox the moment the box leaves. Once a parcel crosses a border, import duty or tax may be charged on arrival by the customs office in the destination country.

Wrong size on arrival? One size exchange with every order. It can move you two sizes at most, and the clock runs 30 days from delivery. What changes is who pays the freight: orders carrying Return & Exchange Protection send the pair back and the replacement out at our cost, and orders without it are billed for those two shipments. Questions, answered

Sole colour, sizes, and the rest

Straight answers before you choose a size. The full run and the measuring guide live on the Size Chart. Anything else, email cs@sunayla.com; a person reads it.

What sizes do these come in?

US 4.5 to 14, every half size, twenty sizes in all. Order by the size your foot measures rather than the size you usually buy: the run and the measuring guide live on the Size Chart.

White sole or black?

Both, on every design. Pick under Sole Color before you add to cart. The print on the upper is the same either way, so the choice is only about what the sole does underneath it.

Is there a wide fit on the sneakers?

Not on this line. The Wide fit is built into the Leather Boots, where every size comes in Standard and Wide and Wide runs 13 mm bigger around the foot. If room across the ball of the foot is the thing you need most, start there.

Will my size sell out?

No. Every pair is printed, cut and assembled after you order, so there is no shelf for a size to run out of and no half size that quietly disappears. What that buys you is availability, not speed: the workshop still needs its 5 to 10 business days.

How long until they are on my feet?

Your pair is made after you order: 5 to 10 business days at the workshop, then the journey. Inside the United States that journey runs 7 to 15 business days, the United Kingdom 10 to 18, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the EU 10 to 20, everywhere else 15 to 25. Most pairs land two to five weeks after checkout, and the Shipping tab above carries the same table.

What does shipping cost?

The first pair carries the charge and every further pair on the same order adds $9.99. Inside the United States that is $14.99 for one pair and $24.98 for two. Canada opens at $16.99, and everywhere else we ship opens at $14.99. Socks post on their own at $4.99 a pair, tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere. The figure appears at checkout once you enter an address.

What if the size is wrong when they arrive?

You get one size exchange on the order. It can move you two sizes at most from the number you first chose, and the clock runs 30 days from the day the box arrives. What changes is who pays the freight: an order carrying Return & Exchange Protection sends the pair back and the replacement out at our cost, an order without it is billed for those two shipments. Details on the Return & Refund page.

Is there a matching pair of socks or a tote?

Yes. The same ten designs run across socks and tote bags, so the drawing on your sneakers has a match in both. Socks post at $4.99 a pair and tote bags at $6.99 each, the same price everywhere and whether or not boots travel with them.
